Join the Celebration of Culture & Aloha
Step beyond the spectator experience and become part of the tradition at the Immersive Lūʻau by Oʻahu Experience in Hauʻula. Begin your evening with a warm oli aloha (chant of welcome) and dive into authentic Hawaiian and Polynesian practices—from preparing an ʻimu (underground oven) to weaving ti leaf leis and pounding kalo into poi. Discover the meaning of mālama ʻāina (to care for the land) and aloha ʻāina (love for the land) while connecting with local hosts who share their heritage firsthand. As the sun sets, enjoy a traditional Hawaiian meal from the ʻimu alongside local favorites, then drum, dance, and even learn the art of the Samoan fireknife. This isn’t a show you watch—it’s a cultural journey you live.
