Travel & Safety Policy

Last Updated: November 7, 2025

At Luaus & Shows, your comfort, safety, and enjoyment are our top priorities. From torch-lit lūʻaus under the stars to family-friendly theaters and variety shows, we work closely with professional venues and performers who uphold the highest safety and hospitality standards.

This policy explains how we protect our guests and the shared responsibilities that ensure every show experience is safe, respectful, and memorable.

Safety at a Glance

  • ✅ Licensed, insured, and authorized venues
  • ✅ Trained staff and first-aid readiness
  • ✅ Clearly marked seating and exits
  • ✅ Accessibility support at most locations
  • ✅ Cultural respect and audience etiquette encouraged

Licensed & Insured Venues

All of our partners are fully licensed and insured to host public performances. Each venue complies with local safety regulations, including emergency lighting, exit signage, and occupancy limits. Fire safety checks and equipment inspections are performed regularly to maintain compliance and peace of mind.

Performer & Staff Training

Our partners employ experienced staff trained in guest safety, crowd management, and emergency procedures. Many team members maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications. Performers and backstage crews also participate in rehearsed evacuation plans to ensure quick coordination should an issue arise.

Guest Responsibilities

To help create a safe, enjoyable atmosphere for all guests, we ask that you:

  • Arrive early to allow time for parking, seating, and check-in.
  • Follow all venue guidelines and staff instructions.
  • Refrain from using flash photography or recording where prohibited.
  • Supervise children and remain seated during performances.
  • Disclose any mobility, hearing, or visual needs before arrival so accommodations can be arranged.
  • Respect the performers, audience, and cultural traditions being presented.

Health & Accessibility

  • Accessibility: Most venues are ADA-compliant, offering wheelchair seating, ramps, and assistive listening devices where available. Contact our team before booking if you require accommodations.
  • Health Precautions: Venues maintain clean facilities and adhere to local health guidelines. Hand-sanitizing stations and restrooms are available throughout the property.
  • Weather Conditions: Outdoor lūʻaus may be rescheduled or moved under cover in the event of unsafe weather.

Cultural & Environmental Respect

Luaus & Shows is proud to share performances rooted in authentic traditions. We ask guests to honor these moments with respect — listen, learn, and appreciate the cultures represented. Many lūʻaus support local artisans, musicians, and dancers whose work keeps these traditions thriving.

Emergency Procedures

Each venue has an emergency plan approved by local authorities. In the rare event of an emergency:

  • Follow directions from venue staff or announcers.
  • Remain calm and proceed to the nearest exit if instructed.
  • If you require medical assistance, alert a staff member immediately.
  • For urgent matters during your visit, use the 24/7 support number included in your booking confirmation.

Our Promise

Every experience booked through Luaus & Shows is hosted by professionals who value guest safety and authentic hospitality. We partner only with venues and cultural producers who meet the highest standards of care — so you can relax, enjoy the show, and focus on what matters most: the experience.
