Led by Native educator and performer Little Big Mountain, the Jororo Village Walkthrough is a rare opportunity to step into the daily life of Florida’s earliest people. Explore a full-scale living history village built to replicate the world of the Jororo Tribe — part of the ancient Mississippian mound-building culture. Inside the handcrafted chickee huts, guests watch demonstrations of fire making, primitive cooking, weaving, and weapon crafting using bone and stone tools. The experience highlights how families built shelter, found food, and honored the land. A small on-site museum showcases artifacts more than 12,000 years old, offering a powerful connection to the region’s Indigenous past.
