The Myths of Maui Lūʻau at the Royal Lahaina Resort has been enchanting visitors for over 50 years — an unforgettable evening of storytelling, rhythm, and flavor. As the sun sets over Kā‘anapali Beach, the blowing of the conch shell marks the beginning of the celebration. Guests are greeted with leis and a Mai Tai before witnessing the traditional imu ceremony, unearthing the kalua pua‘a from its underground oven. A lavish buffet follows, featuring local favorites such as teriyaki chicken, Moloka‘i sweet potatoes, and coconut haupia. Then, the island’s most talented performers take the stage for a spectacular journey through Polynesia — culminating in a fireknife finale that lights up the night.
